MD
Hi Friends,
Mom had her MD appointment this morning so I took off from work to take her...the taxi they'd called for us never came, so we ended up walking down the street trying to hail one, and finally got one after about 15 minutes of walking in the freezing temps...we were both cheerful, though, despite this annoyance. Got to the office and the appointment went fine...a little traumatic (I won't go into detail) but overall it was fine. Stopped at Starbuck's and got a little hot drink for the ride back to the Imperial, and I dropped her off in time for lunch. Unfortunately, I had to head into work after that...my friend Melissa kindly worked my first four hours this morning, so I had to get there and take over for her. The day was okay, not too busy for once but steady enough to make the day go by.
Am home now, tired as usual and looking forward to bedtime, which will be soon. Tomorrow the plan is to go to the Imperial around 11am because mom is making mac & cheese in therapy, so I will be there to eat it! :) Other than that, no plans for the day, so will probably just hang out for the afternoon and then will probably be heading to visit my friend Suzi in the evening.
