Kickin' back
Hey Friends,
Today was a good day...it started out with me waking up to my dear friend Suzi and her cute 7 year old daughter Jenna, followed by her 14 year old daughter Julia coming into the bedroom where I spent the night and getting on my bed. It was really nice to wake up to a fun family...they brought me coffee in bed, and we just hung out and had a good time before I actually got up. We had a leisurely breakfast, and then got ready and headed into the city to visit mom. Suzi brought their cute dog, Marshmallow, to visit mom, and we had a great time. We all hung out in the library, and even played a hand of "Crazy Eights!" We had fun, and Suzi's kids are great...her son, Fisher, came too, and seemed to enjoy their visit. They had to head back, and I stayed and hung out with mom for the afternoon.
We basically just layed low and watched a movie on TV...we talked some, but mostly just relaxed together, which was nice. :) It was almost like a normal lazy Saturday. Probably tomorrow we'll be a bit more active, but it was nice to just not do much of anything together except just "be."
Left around dinnertime to go home and check on the kitties. Ended up going bowling with Pam for a birthday of a friend of hers, which was really fun. Am home and must go to bed. Hope all is well with all of you...peace to you.
