Technology

Hi Friends,

Mom is slowly getting back into the world of modern technology...she sent 2 emails today! Pam and I went to hang with her this afternoon for awhile, and we went on the computer so she could check her email...of course she didn't remember what her password was, but I helped her out and it was impressive that she innately knew how to type and how to do capital letters and spaces and all that, she knew how to work the mouse and do punctuation (with a small amount of help). She did great! I also showed her the blog again, and let her read a few of the early entries and comments from people...she was very interested to do so, and wants to read more of it in the future. I told her before she knew it, we'd have her make an entry on the blog to say hello to everyone! Writing the emails was a bit taxing on her I think, simply because it took her some energy to do so...but we'll keep doing this and perhaps one of these days she'll be going down to the computer and doing it by herself! :) If anyone would like to send her an email, I'm sure next time I help her check it she'd LOVE to have some messages in her inbox! And of course she truly loved reading the blog comments, so keep those coming too!

Pam and I left just before they served mom dinner, and ended up going to see a movie..."There Will Be Blood." There were some creepy parts, and also some parts I'm still not sure I get, but overall it was good and I definitely think Daniel Day-Lewis deserves the Golden Globe he got for it.

Off to bed, must work tomorrow. Hope everyone is keeping warm...I don't know about anyone else, but I'm ready for spring. Peace to all.
