A day with the girls

Hi Friends,

Had a very nice day today...got up and had a cup of tea while reading a new book, did a few chores around the house, got ready and Pam picked me up for lunch. Headed downtown where we met Jillian, Candy and Maddie for a nice meal at PJ Clarke's, followed by some shopping down there. The weather was beautiful despite original forcasts for rain, and the spring flowers were beginning to bloom. :)

After some shopping, we headed up to our favorite nail salon to get pampered a bit...I got a mani and a pedi...mmmm. Then we all went over to visit mom at the palace...she was so glad to see us, and we had a great time hanging out and chatting...she's really really cute. :) I noticed when we were looking around for her when we arrived (she wasn't in her room) that the terrace they have was open, so I suggested she head out after we left to get some fresh air...she was excited, and when I talked to her later, she said she'd really enjoyed it. :) After we visited mom, Jillian had to head back to the 'burbs, and Pam and I grabbed a bite for dinner before she dropped me off at home. A very nice day full of good friends and good times.
