A trip to the new digs
Hi Friends,
What another lovely day outside...I can't wait until it's here to stay for good! So many people were out walking and running and biking and rollerblading. Makes me so excited for summer! Definitely took advantage of the weather today with mom...we walked a ways outside and took the train up to the new apartment for her to check it out. She loved it, though the keys were not left at the property as they were supposed to have been, and there is still much to be cleared out of the place...how do I know that you ask if I didn't have keys? The back door was open! So we sort of broke in, but I figure I paid for the place, so I'm allowed. ;) But definitely plan to call them tomorrow and tell them to get their act together...I'm a bit afraid this may be a sign of things to come, but I'm trying to stay positive. We shall see.
Had a nice dinner at a new Indian restaurant in the new neighborhood...quite yummy, and I'm still so full...but I've got leftovers for lunch tomorrow, so yay! Mom also enjoyed eating out quite a bit...she said it's the best food she's had in a long time.
At home now...am quite tired and hope to get to bed fairly early tonight as I must return to work tomorrow. Hope everyone had a great weekend and was able to enjoy the beautiful spring weather! Thanks as always for your continued love and support. Peace.
