No call

Hi Friends,

Wasn't able to write last night because my computer was being too slow at home and I really just wanted to get in bed. But I got to work a bit early this morning, so figured I'd do it now. I don't have much to report actually...still haven't talked to mom...I think something is wrong with her phone. I called the Imperial yesterday afternoon to ask if everything was ok, and it was, so I told the nurse to have mom call me, but she hasn't...therefore leading me to the malfunctioning phone conclusion. Unfortunately, I work again today and won't be able to get over there to investigate, so unless I can get someone there to help her with the technology, I won't be able to talk to her until tomorrow. :(

Last night got home to discover most of the big tree that was in my backyard cut down...!! It provided nice shade, but with the construction next door, I guess they didn't agree so it looks very naked back there. :( I'm sure I'll get used to it, but it'll take awhile. Looks very strange.
