Lazy Sunday
Hi Friends,
Mom and I had a pretty similar day to yesterday...fun, relaxing and nice. We watched another movie, this time "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" to get into the Christmas spirit (however, it mostly succeeded in making me a little sad about the upcoming holiday and how it will be so different this year), did some walking around the halls (didn't go outside today because it was raining and gray), and did some laundry. Really not much to write about today, so will make it a short one. Betty comes in 3 days, and Linda in 13, so we're counting down the days. This week is it...no more extensions, no more putting off surgery...it will be a big week. I'm getting anxious just thinking about it...I'm going to miss her being at RIC because it has become familiar, comfortable and safe. But it's time to move on the to the next step, I know...I'm just starting to get scared. Bear with me, please.

You have done such an amazing job with all of the steps leading up to this week. Each entry I read, I am more and more amazed by your strength. You will make it through this week and everything will go great! Good luck and I'm thinking of you.
