Snow day
Hi Friends,
Well, today I felt much better about everything, and was able to get myself up and going earlier, which also helped. Mom and I had a great day together just hanging out, laughing and joking. Shortly after lunch it started to snow fairly hard outside, and we watched it for a bit and then I was talking about how I'd hoped to perhaps take her outside for some fresh air today but that now with the weather the way it was, I guessed it wasn't going to happen...au contraire! Mom was all about going out in the snow, so we both got bundled up and headed outdoors...man was it cold and windy! We were out there about 10 or 15 minutes before we got too cold and headed indoors. We did sit down in the lobby for quite awhile and watched people come and go outside, and marveled at the beauty of the first real snow of the year. It was lovely.
Mom took an afternoon nap and I laid on the couch in the room and read my book. Then I ran to the grocery store and got us some treats (none of which we really ate tonight, but they'll be there for tomorrow now)...mom wanted to come with me to the store, but with the weather the way it was and me not knowing where the wheelchair-accessible entrance was to the building where the store is, we decided it might be better to hold off until next time. Quite ambitious today, though! :) We watched a movie this evening again ("Love Actually," one of our all-time favorites), and I headed home shortly after the movie. All in all, a fun day, and we are both looking forward to tomorrow so we can hang out again.

We love you and your wonderful mother. Every time I am at home and I look at the white end table that I bought from her, I think of you both. Stay stroung but please remember to cry, too.
