The Bistro
Hi Friends,
So tired, so this will be short...I got into a movie that was on TV when I got home and now it's late and I am half asleep. Talked to mom a few times today...she was doing well...she changed it up a bit for dinner tonight and ate down in the Bistro on the 1st floor of the Imperial instead...it's a little more restaurant-like, and they offer her a choice of 2 different things and soup or salad. She found out about it from another resident, and decided to check it out! :) A nice change of pace for her. She also got some more Speech Therapy homework which she had gotten a good start on this afternoon...she was reading me some of the clues and her answers, and she had done awesome so far!!! I was really truly impressed...there was one which I didn't even get and she did! So proud. :)
I get to relax over the next few days...I don't have to work until Tuesday! I hope the weather gets a little better...it has been truly nasty here this last week! Drive safely, everyone...thanks for all your comments, encouragement, and celebration...I truly appreciate your enthusiasm and love more than you'll ever know...it's what gets me through the days. It's Ellen, I don't have a blog name yet :) So glad to see that your mom is doing so well and that you had such a wonderful day together. Hope you are able to see here this weekend despite the lovely weather! Have a good few days off, enjoy the peace and quiet!
