Photo op
Hi Friends,
Helped out at work in the morning for awhile, then headed over to the palace in the early afternoon to hang out with mom. Today, as planned, was the day they took her photo for the Resident of the Month...she was waiting in the lobby for the photographer when I arrived, and had applied makeup (very tasteful) and brought her comb down with her to make sure she looked good. :) Shortly after I arrived, the photographer got there and she was first. She will be the resident for the month of May, and they interviewed her some to get some info for the bio that goes underneath her picture. She answered the questions very well (where she was born, her profession, interests and hobbies, etc) and then she and I posed for a picture together, and she also got to take one with the photographer's dog Charlie...as we all know, she loves dogs these days so this really made her day. :) Not sure which pic they'll use, but I'm sure they got some good ones and mom had a good time in the process!
We just hung out for the rest of the afternoon and early evening...had a good time as usual. She's just so damn cute. Then I headed over to Pam's for dinner...she cooked! A little surf and turf for us, and so good! Now am home and must go to bed as usual...back to work again tomorrow for the whole day this time. Wish me luck! Thanks to you all for your undying love and support. Peace.

This is Ericka Smith. I've sent you a couple of messages before and have been reading your journal since the beginning. I work at Coyne and there are a lot of students and staff who are concerned about Bev. I'm on the Newsletter Committee and we were wondering if you and Bev would feel comfortable with us doing an article about how she's doing. I can either interview you and/or Bev for the article or (since you're an amazing writer) and Bev has been working in her own journal, the two of you could come up with something. If this is too much to ask or if the two of you are uncomfortable in any way with it, please let me know. We don't want to add any additional stress. You can give me a call if you want at work 773-577-8060 or on my cell 773-516-1434 or reach me by email esmith@coyneamerican.edu.
Hope to talk to you soon.
