Errands
Hi Friends,
Ah, the weekend has come to an end. :( It was a nice 3 day weekend for me, but now it's back to the grind. In fact, WAY back, as I work an epic 16 hour day tomorrow (I know, I know, I'm crazy...I signed up for an extra four hours to make some extra cash). So must rest up for that, but of course wanted to update you on the day. Relaxed in the morning and emailed back and forth with mom a few times...she's gettin' good! :) She sent me the cutest email, a part of which I'll copy here because I think it's too cute not to:
"I DID IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have to say, I LOVE WRITING TO YOU !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so proud of making myself LEARN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did it !!!!!!!!!! Yup, HERE YOU GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I DID IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY, ME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY, MY BRAIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway, then Pam and I had our semi-weekly Discount Day and I got lots of good deals on essentials for the new place...towel bars and a shower curtain, deck furniture from Cost Plus World Market, a charcoal grill that took me 2 hours this evening to put together, etc. Next I need to measure the windows and get some shades/curtains...I feel like I'm living in a fish bowl. But, it's coming along. Had leftovers for dinner and watched the season finale of "Desperate Housewives."
