Productive
Hi Friends,
Am up WAY too late trying to finish everything I'd wanted to get done today...sometimes, there don't seem to be enough hours in the day for all one would like to accomplish, eh? Got up, had breakfast, watered all the plants (Betty, you'd be proud!), got ready and picked up a Zipcar for my errands...stopped by the pharmacy, did laundry, went grocery shopping, made a trip to Target (which took MUCH longer than I'd anticipated...I love that place...I'm like a kid in a candy store there), picked up mom, we had dinner on the back deck (spaghetti, salad, and fruit for dessert), and dropped her back off at the palace. We had a great time together...she was enjoying the weather immensely, helped me make dinner, and we just had some great conversations again. She is really doing well, I've been so pleased with all our interactions of late. :) Future plans are still pending, but I will surely keep you posted on any new developments.
When I got back from dropping mom off, I went to work tidying up my place...Jillian is spending the night tomorrow because we have a work function to attend after our shift, and as she works the next day, we thought it best if she just stayed in the city for the night instead of commuting back and forth. She is allergic to kitties, so I had to seriously (and a bit obsessively actually...once I get going, I can't stop) de-hair the place, especially the bedroom she'll be staying in. I think I did pretty well, though there is still much to be done...as I said, not enough hours in the day. It's late now, and I must get to bed. I hope Jillian will not think less of me for not having a completely tidy place! :) I know she won't care, but I certainly do. Ah well, we can only do what we can do. Thanks for all your continued love and support. Peace.
