Life's a beach

Hi Friends,

Yep, you guessed it...went to the beach today for a couple of hours...it was the perfect day for it...not too hot, a nice breeze, and plenty of sun. Got some color, so I don't look like an albino anymore...waded in the water and splashed a bit on myself to cool off, but much too cold to get all the way in as yet. The best part is that the beach is literally about a two minute walk from my place, so it's very convenient. :)

Came home, showered, had a little lunch and went to pick up mom and do a few errands, and then we headed to the 'burbs to drop off Suzi's car I've been borrowing since Sunday...I'm so sad to see it go, life is much easier with a ride...I got so much done that I needed to. :) Ah well...hung out with Suzi and the fam for awhile, and went out to dinner with them at a yummy Chinese restaurant before taking the train back into the city. Dropped mom off at the palace and made the trek back home, where I sit now writing to you! It's an oven in here, so I'm opening all the windows tonight...I hope it'll cool off a bit in here!
